I got a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble for my birthday. So, I went and picked me up a gen-u-ine "How to Draw" book to get my learn on. This is the result of my first lesson. Normally, in order to practice, I'll just copy a finished drawing off the Inter-web. For this one, I actually started with a stick-figure, filled it out with 3-D forms, drew the body, then did the clothes and accessories. I still have a long way to go (the book has over 350 pages, yikes!), but I think I'm off to a fairly good start.
