EVERYONE has to share some blame here.
The citizens of Boston for freaking out over a lite-bite. The 5-0 for detonating one of them. The city officials for trying to save face by arresting two of the marketing campaign kids and charging them with trumped up terrorism charges. The media for jumping to wild conclusions. Even the Department of Homeland Security for having no idea what was going on:
“This is an isolated incident. We have found no other devices in the country.” (They were in 10 major cities.) If they really WERE bombs, it’s frightening to think that these goobers would never know about it.
The worst has to be the prosecutor stating that this type of thing shouldn’t be tolerated in a post-9/11 America. These “devices” were in New York City, Ground-Effing-Zero, for three whole weeks and nobody went nuts! Harumph to the whole thing.
