My Big Break
Okay, you can’t really see my face and it’s only for a few seconds, but I made it into the trailer for a TV series! You can see me between 0:40 and 0:44. I’m the tall guy in the orange cloak with yellow rope tied around my head. I get pushed by a thief and flail my arms.
I got the extra part when my friend Jamie Naguchi of Angry Zen Master put out a call for bodies to fill a crowd scene. He did the special effects for this show, C-47, and also had a cameo in it. He’s the scientist at 1:30 saying “Show us what you saw.”
All in all that was a fun day of shooting. It was exhausting work and I have new respect for people who do this for a living. I was there for about 13 hours and I got 4 seconds of screen time. But hey! My performance was so tour-de-force that they put it in the freaking trailer. How cool is that?!?
