We’ve returned; magellanic, if you will, to the sulphurous pit I so often mine for my humor: poop. Sure, I can scribble a bit better now. I can dress up the language with such lofty literary terms such as “onomatopoeia”, “alliteration”, and “scribble”. But have I really evolved past the sophomoric guffaws induced by the body’s baser brews?
Who cares! It made me laugh. I think this is one of the most complete strips I’ve done. The setting is good, the animals look right, the clothing is different, there’s even TWO shifts in perspective. All of which combine to form a fully developed illustrated laughing-square.
You might have noticed the banner for the Baltimore Comic Convention. I haven’t been talking about it much because I wasn’t really sure I was going to be able to go. When I signed up, I had two jobs and no degree. Now, I have one degree and no jobs. This seems … backwards, to me. Yet it is the reality I live in. I’ve gone to many cons before, but this was going to be the one where I had a respectable booth with merchandise, commissions, and laser rock shows. Well, all my funds have dried up which means none of that is happening, which sucks.
But whatever. I paid for the table and it’s too late to get my money back. Besides, there’s going to be some outrageously awesome people there like Lar, Dern, Jacques, and Joel. Not to mention the awesomely outrageous antics of the Super Art Fight crew on Friday night. Should be good times!

Sorry for being Off-Topic … which Word Press theme do you use? Looks cool.
I use the Comicpress 3-panel theme. Gives me the width to fit the strip without having to scale it down, plus a good blog area and spaces to squeeze in links and whatnot.
