Comic #2 that I sent in as my sample work to the Towerlight. They started printing them back on Thursday, the 23rd. So I guess it’s official: I’m a societal bottom feeder, otherwise known as a cartoonist.
They want “Less Than Three” to be a weekly strip. They are obviously not familiar with my phobia-like aversion to deadlines. Soon they shall learn the ways of the Procrastinator!
The title is supposed to be in a caption at the top left of the first panel, and it is in the printed strip. I just didn’t feel like editing it into the raw panel. Sooooo laaaaazy.

This is also the first comic I’ve done that had a background that wasn’t just a lighting effect. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. One just has to give the impression of time and space using minimalist techniques whilst avoiding the appearance of forced perspective.
Wha- huh? Not sure what just happened there.
