Way back in the day, in the long-long-ago, I started cartooning. At the time I had no idea what end it would lead me to. However, there was one thing that I was fairly certain I would accomplish along the way. I knew that at some point in my career, I would represent Michael Madsen, Harvey Keitel, and Steve Buscemi as Munchkins. I’ve accomplished that today and it is everything I ever hoped it could be and more.
Tax day came and went without much pain. I did, however, have to wake up at 7 AM in order to call the IRS to get my 2007 adjusted gross income so I could e-file for the first time. I fell asleep while on hold, but was jarred into wakefulness by the government rep on the other end. I don’t recall the specifics of the conversation, as I quickly returned to slumber, but when I regained consciousness there were numbers scrawled upon a nearby envelope. I either completed my taxes successfully or I got a date with a revenuer. Either way, it’s all good.
Also, I heard the White House got tea bagged today. I wonder if all these old republicans appreciate the true significance of what it means to tea bag.
