Questionable Play Calling

We had a conversation regarding the employment of Steely McBeam.

Now keep in mind that I respect the men and women who dare to don the foam. They put it all out there and nobody ever sees their human face. Steely McBeam, however, is not a beloved mascot. People just didn't seem to take to the name for some reason. Also, he has Bill Cower's chin, which is a terrifying thing to behold.

This drives Steely to drown his sorrows in drink. Poor guy.

P.S. The Aqua Teen Hunger Force almost made an appearance in the last panel there, but I thought it would distract too much from the punch line. Those unfamiliar with the show would spend hours upon hours trying to figure out why the meatball had eyes, so I turned him into a burger and was done with it.
