There's one thing in today's comic that I'm especially proud of. Sure, the character design is flawless and the writing is spot-on, but I've grown accustomed to excelling in those areas. It's like telling the Russians they make a fine Vodka.

See the explosion in the first panel? I MADE that! Backgrounds are usually the bane of my awesome existence. When I need something that exists outside of my field/sky/cloud world I'll usually just cut and paste an image off the internet.

However, this time I used all the rendering and gradient tools found in Photoshop to conjure up a massive explosion from the depths of my mind. Take THAT!! Now, I'll be sure to include an explosion every chance I get. Especially in next week's puppy issue.
